Important Statement：Indictment of Former Senior Executives for Misappropriation of Trade Secrets by the Taoyuan District Prosecutors' Office

Our company has received an indictment issued by the Taoyuan District Prosecutors' Office of Taiwan.
Former senior executives, Mr. Yang, Mr. Tsai, and Mr. Liao, are accused of unlawfully obtaining our company’s trade secrets. Following our company’s formal criminal complaint, the Prosecutor has now indicted the aforementioned individuals, along with Chengding Industrial Co., Ltd (Jix), for violations of the Trade Secrets Act and related regulations. The case has officially entered judicial proceedings.
According to the indictment, the Prosecutor determined that Mr. Yang and Mr. Tsai instructed Mr. Liao to obtain our company’s trade secrets without authorization. Mr. Liao subsequently transferred the unlawfully obtained trade secrets to Mr. Tsai, who then used them to develop products for Chengding Industrial Co., Ltd. Furthermore, these products were sold in Taiwan and Mainland China, causing significant damage to our company.

Our company has always placed the utmost importance on protecting trade secrets and intellectual property rights. We take a firm and uncompromising stance against any infringement upon our lawful rights and will pursue all violators to the fullest extent of the law.

Given that the products sold by these former employees and their newly established companies involve the misappropriation of our company’s trade secrets, we hereby solemnly remind our business partners and customers:
- Please exercise due diligence in evaluating the source of products and refrain from purchasing any products involved in the ongoing litigation, to avoid legal risks arising from the procurement or sale of unlawful products.
- While pursuing legal action against these unlawful acts, our company also reserves the right to take legal measures against any party that assists in or distributes the infringing products.
- Our company will continue to safeguard the interests of our legitimate partners, uphold fair market competition, and contribute to the healthy development of the industry.
